Résumé et commentaire critique	Seul le sixième et dernier épisode de ce film (25') a pour cadre la Révolution française. Un Louis XVI libidineux (cas unique dans l'histoire du cinéma) abandonne la place à son sosie de garçon-pipi (Mel Brooks) quand le peuple ("we ave nozzing, not even a language, just zis stupid accent") envahit Versailles. Références à Monsieur Beaucaire (pour le jeu maître-valet), A Tale of Two Cities (pour le traitement du peuple parisien) et Orphans of the Storm (pour la scène sur l'échafaud), dans l'esprit général de Start the Revolution Without Me. [D.R.] En 1981, à partir d’une phrase répétée trois fois par Louis XVI dans le film (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StJS51d1Fzg), Mel Brooks composa et interpréta « It ‘s good to be the king rap », qui fut n°2 du hit-parade en France.
